Tony McQueen
Coach
Originally from NJ, Coach Tony ran sprints and hurdles for his high school before attending the University of Rhode Island (URI). As a walk-on Coach Tony ran primarily the 400H along with the other sprinting events. He was a part of two A10 Outdoor Championship teams in 2016 and 2018. During his last year of grad school without eligibility, he trained to make the Haitian National Team in the 200m. For 3 years while working as a full time Engineer Coach Tony continued to train under fellow Elite Athletics Coach Steve. After 3 years of professional training Coach Tony decided to retire and give more time to coaching. As a high school coach in RI he spends all year round working with athletes in the sport that he loves.

Steve Gruenberg
Coach
Coach Steve is originally from Greenville, Ohio where he did sprints and long jump in high school before earning a scholarship to run at NCAA Division 2 Cedarville University where he participated in the 200m, 400m, long jump and triple jump. While at Cedarville, Coach Steve set a school record in the indoor 4x200m relay and was a part of the 2006 and 2007 NCCAA National Indoor champion teams. After graduating from Cedarville in 2008, Coach Steve started the Darke County Track Club and coached multiple national qualifiers for the USATF Junior Olympics. Coach Steve was also the assistant track coach at Greenville High School where he coached 7 athletes to the regional meet in long jump, 200m, 400m and also coached the former state record holder in pole vault. Starting in 2011, Coach Steve started as an assistant coach and then was promoted to Director of Cross Country and Track and Field at the University of Rio Grande. He has 16 years of coaching experience, holds a USATF Level 1 coaching license, has coached everything from cross country to the decathlon, and has coached people ages 7 to post collegiate.
